The Baal Shem Tov, or Besht —  the founder of Chasidism —
met the soul of the Messiah during an ascent to heaven.
The Besht asked him, "When will the Master come?"
The Messiah answered, "When your wellsprings break forth to the outside!"
(from a letter written by the Besht to his brother-in-law about one of his soul ascents)

Donations

Your donations help us maintain, update and improve this site. You'll be able to listen to more songs, use more prayers, learn more Torah, and use new features, like interactive forums or wiki's. (It takes hours to process some recordings, and the backlog of music waiting to be put online is more than what's already there!) Use the Google Checkout button if you'd like to donate $5 or more.

We've suggested $13 to represent the gematria for three precious ideas: unity (echad א=1 + ח=8 + ד=4), love (ahavah א=1 + ה=5 + ב=2 + ה=5), and the thirteen attributes of mercy, or $18 (for life, chai ח=8 + י=10). For less than $5 (or if you don't want to make online payments), just send a check to Neohasid.org c/o Beit Ahavah, P.O. Box 28, Northampton MA 01061. Please e-mail David Seidenberg at rebduvid86 at gmail.com if you have any questions, suggestions, or wild and crazy ideas.
