The Baal Shem Tov, or Besht —  the founder of Chasidism —
met the soul of the Messiah during an ascent to heaven.
The Besht asked him, "When will the Master come?"
The Messiah answered, "When your wellsprings break forth to the outside!"
(from a letter written by the Besht to his brother-in-law about one of his soul ascents)

Atah Chonen

A nigun from Reb Moshe Ahron for "V'atah chonen", from the fourth brakhah of the weekday Amidah: v'atah chonen l'Adam da'at um'lameid enosh binah וְאַתָּה חוֹנֵן לָאָדָם דַּעַת וּמְלַמֵּד לֶאֱנוֹשׁ בִּינָה – "And you grant to humanity knowledge, and teach understanding to people". This nigun was collected at the Ohalah conference in Boulder in between sessions, hence the background conversations. Reb Moshe Aharon taught the song as Chabad; Cantor Richard Kaplan recognized it as a Kaliver nign (from Hungary). Since Chabad is known for absorbing many nigunim from many sources, it may be both.
