The Baal Shem Tov, or Besht —  the founder of Chasidism —
met the soul of the Messiah during an ascent to heaven.
The Besht asked him, "When will the Master come?"
The Messiah answered, "When your wellsprings break forth to the outside!"
(from a letter written by the Besht to his brother-in-law about one of his soul ascents)

Ben Zion Solomon in Concert

Sat. 12/16, 7:30-11 PM in Teaneck

Ben Zion Solomon is the founding member of the Diaspora Yeshiva Band and the Carlebach moshav in Israel, and one of the original stars of Jewish folk rock. Ben Zion's repetoire includes Carlebach, Diaspora, and his own compositions, as well as authentic music of the Breslov Chassidim. Not only is he a performer, but he's a scholarly musicologist who recently uncovered a treasure trove of formerly unknown Carlebach compositions and has catalogued and recorded Breslov music. Ben Zion and Dina's sons founded the Moshav Band and Soulfarm.

Note: NeoHasid is experimenting with adding commments to some of our pages. Our primary purpose is to allow signups on the StoptheFlood! page. However (due to our still-limited html literacy), comment submission forms will temporarily appear on all entry pages. For the time being, feel free to add your shnei p'rutim to any page, and we will try to incorporate it. Thanks for your patience as we figure this out!
