The Baal Shem Tov, or Besht —  the founder of Chasidism —
met the soul of the Messiah during an ascent to heaven.
The Besht asked him, "When will the Master come?"
The Messiah answered, "When your wellsprings break forth to the outside!"
(from a letter written by the Besht to his brother-in-law about one of his soul ascents)

Ashrei Ha'am

Another song from Miriam Ahuvatel, to the verse Ashrei Ha'am Shekakha Lo, Ashrei Ha'am She'Adonai Elohav, "Happy the people that has this for itself, happy the people whose God is YHVH", the second verse of Ashrei (Psalm 145, recited in Shacharit and Mincha), actually Psalm 144:15. A more ornate klezmer version can be heard on her "Hassidic Shabbath Songs & Nigunim of Karlin" available on CD Baby. Miriam recorded this version especially for Neohasid.
